I know I’ve been pretending
All these years I had to conceal
This love that I have for you
For to them it’s too surreal

Yes… I’ve been beaten
And to the ground they pinned my heart
It tried so hard to recover but…
…it was really torn apart

What I ask from you is forgiveness
Because I tried to love another
Thinking that If I forget…
Maybe, it would all be better

I was merely being a fool
I was tied to their belief
And to my own heart I was being cruel

Now I shall cover my ears
And I shall mask my eyes
Never again will I listen
To their spiteful wolfish cries

Never again will I stare
At their paintings of illusions and pain
And Never again will I read
Their letters of disdain

Our love, It is a curse
From the moment their eyes laid on me
The king & queen spoke of disgust
And to threat…apart we will be

Then let it be done!
Let them do as they please!
